All right, this here is Gal Sh. All right, retired designer. AI took my job. Now, I've covered this person in the past. Really good logo designer and even better motion designer. And so last week I was on vacation and if you're on X and you're a designer, you probably saw what happened. Um, this person basically said
that they're quitting design because AI took their job. There's they're better than them essentially. Now, I asked Fable 5 to produce nine different logo concepts, and we're going to check those out to see just how good Fable 5 is at logo design. But first, let me read real quickly this initial post and some of
the follow-up posts as well. All right, it's over. I'm quitting design. A client of mine just created a logo with Fable 5, and the result left me speechless. I understood the brand story, values, audience, strategy, and turned all that into a smart, minimal symbol. All right, a genuinely brilliant concept. the kind
of idea that captures everything at once, right? Something I honestly don't think I would have come up with myself.
And it just didn't just nail the idea, it executed the design pixel perfectly. So, I raised the right the white flag.
My skepticism about AI's ability to do great design is officially gone. There I said it. AI beat me at design. And then two days later on July 10th, posted this meme here. Here's the designer that does everything by hand these days. Designer using AI is struggling. And then of course everything's beautiful with the
AI and client. So essentially you don't need a human expert anymore because Fable 5 is just that good at logo design. So let's actually find out if that is the case. So I asked Fable 5 to spawn several different design agents to create three concepts for three unique businesses and I'm going to walk you
through the results of each one. So the first one is called Meridian and it's an advisory group global global advisory for boards and institutions strategy capital transactions crossber growth really boring stuff uh but very open to interpretation. So let's see what the first concept actually looks like. So
this is the first concept. All right. So the first eye is drawn as the line the world measures from. Now, that's actually a cool kind of concept, but the actual execution of the concept is very lacking because most people, they're going to look at this and say, "Mr.
Deianne, it's not obvious that this is an I in and of itself. It almost seems like it's the law offices of Myrr and Deianne." Right now, if you have a client who isn't skilled in understanding what constitute effective logo design, topography, brand design, identity design in general, they might think, hey, this is
great. I'm going to go with it. And there's going to be a lot of people who come and they're like, are is it Merdian or or what? So, the execution is off. It provided you an interesting idea. If you wanted to try to improve on this concept alone, maybe you'll do something like that, right? It's a much more obvious
that it's an eye, but we just, you know, kind of tilt it slightly. And there we go. It's a better execution. You can use this as inspiration. You'll see that this is a recurring theme. Let's check out concept number two. All right. A compass needle rises out of the M and breaks the cap line. All right. So when
